Fun Week

Its been a realy good week in WoW this week, this weekend was packed full of raiding friday night was Ulduar we got to Thorim with in 1 night, Still havent gotten any T8 legs from Hordi but theres allways next week :P, I did get the Furnace Stone from Ignis and i have noticed a Huge difference with my armor i allso got Blade Ward, enchanted onto my wepon i noticed a change in my threat so im my oppinion its a good enchant for tanks for theory crafters will let us know soon :P ,

Did alot of hours of raiding this week over the weekend did two 10-hour days of raiding, Nax 25 with PuGs from freinds and guilds we know appart from maybe 2-5 people it went realy well for a 25-man Naxx PuG so was realy happy, and it helped out some friends to prepair them for Ulduar,

Still working on my Argant Tournament rep and the main one im working on is Darnassus im 9K from exalted and i will FINALY have my saber :D and then i will work on the Kgome rep to get the mecnostrider will be working on the last leg of my Ocacals rep this week and still keep my rep grinding up and grinding :P

Yesterday was a good raid in Ulduar we got down a total of 6 bosses the first night and realy had the mural high for the raid. Were back tonight we have one boss left be for were at the keepers and then were hoping that we can get Thorim down this week on 25-man, I'm still doing well with my Argent Tournament dailys and I'm only 1 more day away from being a champion of Darnassus which then i can start building my rep up, I'm thinking ether to save up the badges to get the mistsaber from the quatermaster or to save up the rep tokens from there aswell and just buy the argent hipporgriph and get the mount when i hit exalted with the rep tokens.

Will keep updates tomorrow on how we get on tonight in Ulduar :)

A Quick Update

Just thought i would write a quick update to let you know how ive been getting on in WoW, so far now on 25-man were at Thorim, I got the T8.5 chest from Hordi, and i now have a full Healing, DPS, and Tanking set all gemmed and enchanted ready to go, which im happy about.

Ofcorse my main spec will and still allways be Tanking but now i can go into DPS or Healing when only 1 Tank is needed and its not me. I actually healer UK and UP,HC yesterday allso which left me exausted and i fell asleep in my chair on TS has we were ment to be going to a VH run lol i got some makeing up to do :P,

Been getting threw my Argent Tournament dailys so i can get plenty of rep with Darnasuss so i can get the saber, but appart from that all is good i will write about whats happens with this weeks new save in Ulduar,

And would like to that Stompalina for E-mail'ing me back and giveing me some helpfull advise about my blog Thankyou Stomp :) love what your doing :D

Had a good experience on Freya on Tuesday, we didn't get her down but we have learnt allot. Found that the hardest part to the fight is to leave the 3 adds and get them around to the same health without dots killing them and then re spawning which was the thorn in our foot for that fight.

We went back to Ulduar this week on the reset and we had some slight problems on Ignis this week i was MT Ignis and our 2 add tanks said that the molten ticks wasnt stacking past 3 so after wipes we moved on to XT-002 and 1 shoted him, with the Nerf on his hart there is a realy good chance to be able to nuke down his hart now it went down realy fast we got it to around 15% where has we were getting it to 50% pre-nerf, and now when he does his tantrum it only does 10% dmg every second for 8 seconds so you can never die if you are full health compared to 10% dmg for 12 seconds which would of killed you without being healed threw it constantly,

This week we did Flame Leviathan up with 1 tower on 25-man we left Thorim's tower up watch out for the beams of thunder they look like the lunar beams, so we got him down on 25-man. Last night we try ed to leave 2 towers up on 10-man we left Thorim's and Mimiron's towers up, the challenge to these towers is that Mimiron's tower will have like a beam of fire that drops down balls of fire to cut off certain quarters of the area your fighting in, to minimize the area so you cant kite flame Leviathan round the area and going threw them cause mass dmg to you, Thorims tower is a beam of thunder that dots around the hole area so you have to move round them so you cant just move in a straight line round the area, In total we got it down to 15% and we were getting really close but after allot of attempts we took down Mimiron's tower down and took down Flame Leviathan and moved on to XT-002 and took him down to make it raid over for that night, were planning on going back tonight so it should be fun for this weeks progression.

Ive been doing the Argent Tournament dailys so i can become a champion and start getting alliance rep up and Darnasuss rep up because i really want to get myself a saber and I've always wanted one since i started the game, and I've also been enjoying them there fun to do and I've got good with the mounted combat :) .

Me and a few guildy's who are all around the same part of the Glory of the Hero to get a red Proto Drake we have all got around 10-18 left to do so all in all its around 5 instances to finish the achievement's off i have 1 in HOS, 1 in Gundarak, 2 in Violet Hold, and 4 in Occulas, so after a few days should have allot of them downed, and i was thinking about it all this week cause I'm so close and really wanting a proto drake thought i might as well move on and progress to it cause if blizzard take it away and I'm so close i will be gutted so got myself a group and were all going to crack on and get our mounts,

Also been looking over my reps this week all so and I'm 12k into revered with Argent Dawn so I'm going to do some Strath runs, has I'm Exalted with the Argent Crusade so i will get the Title and achievement and maybe even Barons Deathcharger, and to go with my Proto drake progression I'm going to go and get the egg from the oracals and try my luck at hatching a green proto drake so i will have to work on that rep also to get to revered cause threw the lvling process i never went to Sholazar Basin to quest and I've only ever done a few farm runs threw there for the mines.

So just waiting for this weekend got a few things to work on and will hopefully get allot of them done over the weekend so i have something to write about for next time :D

This week has been a great week for raiding Ulduar and the progress we have made, got 3 nice upgrades and made some really nice progression so far

Last night and on Friday night me and a few of my fellow guildys took on Ulduar 10-man and had a blast it was great fun and we really made some great progress and got up to Thorim we did all the bosses up to him apart from Iron council, we try-ed to do it with Steelbreaker 1st, Runemaster Molgeim 2nd, Stormcaller Brundir 3rd, we also tryed it with Stormcaller Brundir 1st, Steelbreaker 2nd, Runmaster Molgeim 3rd, we go 2 of them down and then we was left with Molgeim and suddenly these adds came out of nowhere and they blow up when they get near a player and that was a total shock and wiped our raid so we left them for now and moved on to Thorim,

When we got to Thorim we looked up some strats on Tankspot.com and then had a crack at him we spilt our raid up into 2 groups and i was taking the gauntlet and i had 2 DPS and 1 healer with me has that's all we needed and to to be honest i think we could of done it with just the 1 DPS and 1 healer you have to take on 2 mini bosses and trash, its pretty simple to be able to get to Thorim and then you attack him and then he jumps down into the arena, then the fight is pretty much a tank and spank you have a 5 min enrage timer to get to him threw the gauntlet, then once he is down in the arena it goes away I'm not sure if he has another internal timer but we didn't get that far :),

We then went on the Freya who's trash is the most challenging trash in wrath to date i love that trash i really do enjoy doing it. We then got to Freya and looked up some more strats and then went at her shes a pritty simple fight mechanic to her has its basically 3 sets of adds and you take them all on twice so after the 6 sets of fights with the adds will take down Freyas healing buff, and then you can have a pop at Freya, it was getting late last night so we had a few trys then everyone was really tired so we called it a night and went to sleep lol, well i didn't i went to farm and eat some food lol :P,

All in all this week has been a fun week and I'm looking forward to our 25man raid tonight I've got some experience now with the keepers of Ulduar, and it can only get better from here I don't mind wipes its just helping us get better and when someone asks me about them i just tell them that its helping you get better and on every wipe you learn something and if you expect to just walk threw content don't progression raid has its to be expected, and with that it will lead me on to my next thought,

With all the recent nerfs recently its took a really big difference in Ulduar we basically 1 shoted 2 shoted everything in Ulduar on 10-man, I know that once we have cleared we can move on to the first hard mode and take us up to that challenge that we think we call for, I know that Blizzard have made this content for everyone to see and I'm glad they are making the hard modes harder and I'm looking forward to get to them but I'm glad i got to experience Ulduar before the nerfs well at least a little bit of it anyways,

Threes allot of changes in WoW and I'm keeping myself up to date with them all i Will start something on my blog when i will do little posts to keep it updated with the WoW and guild updates, Will write a new post in a few days thanks for the read everyone and hope your weeks been a good 1 :D

25-Man Ulduar

Hey been a good 25-man raid week this week we have got realy far into Ulduar so far we have downed,

Flame Leviathan

Ignis the Furnace Master

Razorscale

XT-002 Deconstructor

Assembly of Iron

Kologarn

And Currently Attepting Auriaya

The Co-Ordination from all our members and the focus they have all showed has been great after a few wipes on each boss we came back strong and got them down XT-002 was tuff we got him down about 10 seconds after he enraged it was insane lol hunter tank ftw lol.

We finaly!! got Ignis down after waiting for all his Bugs to be hotfixed and that was great to see him fall, was a bit crazy all round but in the next ecounters we will have our co-ordination locked down alot better :) ,

We were haveing a few problems at Kologarn, but after we got our tactic locked down and all our members new what they were doing and where they needed to be we had him down, then after Kologarn we went to the Iron Councill and that got the Councill down in 3 attempts we should of had them down on the 2nd but we wiped at 90k 5 mins after the enrage timer lol that crazy but we came back in on our next try buffed up and went in and realy kicked ass lol :D got it all on fraps so will but some on im my new youtube page after i edit the footage,

then we come to Auriaya there is no doubt that the pull is the hardst part of this encounter you have to get it perfect or it will be a raid round wipe the cats when they are within 20 yards of each other get 50% dmg increase buffs and it stacks for how many cats are around so it can get nasty if it isnt spamed healed threw and all CD are popped but we got the cats down and we got to the the defender phase where we had to kill and kite round out fo the black hole it leaves when it dies, it alot harder than on 10-man but the fight mechanics do look understanable where we should have her down when we are next at her.

Ulduar has been realy fun and i have enjoyed ever moement so far and its been realy good to experiance all this with my guild-family were working as a realy good team and getting out job done and realy realy enjoying the content and its encounters every boss and trash at a time,

Ill talk about the trash a little, DO NOT!! underestemate the trash in Ulduar it has its very own tactics and thats what has made Ulduar all the better there is only a little bit of trash leading up to every boss that ive been to appart from Freya where her hole zone is a great challenge, but with the trash that you encounter to get to your next boss you will need to learn there simple but very effective mechanics to how you need to kill them and where you need to place them that was one of the great joys of stepping into Ulduar and fighting trash where it wasnt just round em up and AoE it was a realy nice breath of fresh air to be able to be in 100% challenge mode all the time and im so happy with Ulduar and if this si how Blizzard will make all its Raids from here on in I will be a very happy player :)

Running Ulduar

Our Progress in Ulduar has been good we are up to Kologarn on 25-man, But last night i put a raid together with a friend and we over invted by 1 becuase people were comeing has 2's, and then while e were thinking about what to do more of our guildys were asking me if there was a Ulduar run tonight so when we looked at what we had online we could put to groups together yet some of them have never been befor but a good majority had been so i thought this will be kool,

Its not that the people who hadnt been befor were undergeared they were all 25-man geared and realy good players but its was experiance in Ulduar, so back to inviteing every1 i had gathered 20 people in 1 group to get every1 sorted and ptu then even into group based on experiance , then 1 of our guild leaders started sorting the groups out and i asked what he was doing and he said he was going to sort them out so i let him, but then when i looked at the groups and the way he was sorting them he was sorting them so that all the players that new what they were doing were in his group and all the players that didnt have any experiance of ulduar were in my group now i thought this was highly unfair and the progress showed when we had killed flame leviathon they had killed Razorscale all in all at the end of the night they had downed the Iron Council and we were just attempting Kologarn,

The group i was with were a realy great bunch of players and we got our tactics down just has any new set of players would on new bosses but i just thought how selfish it was that i set this raid up to be so boh groups could progress with even set experiance of players in each group yet he had other ideas,

I dont no if its me but i thought this was just dissrespecing us so much and he did it so he wouldnt have to explain tactics and so HE could progress i will talk to him about it today in a calm manner but i cant just sit down and take it im not that sort of person,

Apprt from that Ulduar has been a realy plesant Experiance our group was great we all had a good laff and made some realy good progress for peoples first time there and tongiht hopefully we could get to hordi or iron councill.

Ulduar is all about co-ordination and your tactics if you have got that then you can realy do well there im looking forward to going back tonight and see how far we can get tonight :)

Progress

Went to 25-man raid last night and after attempts on Razorscale she finaly threw her loot at us :P I havent seen anything worth spending my DKP on yet i no its fresh loot but i dont want to waste DKP for it, So far we have made more progress on 10-man but i guess that is because there is less people to get it wrong :P , and it was allso good to get the tactics we need to go to 25-man.

XT should go down tonight we had some realy good attempts on him/her :s? so tonight we should see it :) go down
Kologarn should be fun on 25-man has that fight is just a fun fight,

Have to restock on some flasks for tonight cant wait untill my DK is ready for Alchamy so i can just make a stack at a time :D and allso been looking into cooking for a long time now but ive just not had time to get round to it but i think i will have to make some time dragonfin filet is to much on the AH,

Anyways im going to go listen to the new Podcast from The Instance and go lvl my DK a little bit :)

Ulduar Progress

Been busy this past few days in Ulduar makeing alot of progress still not downed ignis yet but we have the stratagy worked out fully now so it will be interseting to see what happens in 25-man tonight, we have got so far up to freya so 5 bosses downed so far i will admit tho Ulduar is not has big has what blizzard had made it out to be but it is still a huge place maybe i have got lazy cause you can use the teleports everywhere :P.

The trash is a great challenge allso the Freya trash is the hardst trash in wrath so far it is a pure challenge in itself with tactics to every pull, which im glad about its about time blizz brought some life back into the trash in wrath for to long its being boaring to just round em up and AoE them down,

Its great now Ulduar is here and im looking forward to more progress tonight :D

Praise the Lord Uldar is finaly here, Its been a long wait my friends but its finaly here all those new bosses to knack down and the new sence of someting to do has come uppon me the EU servers are down untill 3pm, and i am counting down the mins :P,

Sorry i havent posted for the past few days ive been away at familys helping with the new house, but im back now and you will see more of me,

Im reading up on boss tacts and wil do some wintergrasp befor raid time tonight so i can get some practice on the segie wepons ready for Uldar. I will have some more to say later on tonight :P so talk soon guys i got reading to do :P

OFF-Spec's

Finished off the last 4 bosses we had to do 2night with our guild a had a good time doing what i love to do raid with my friends. When i go to Naxx now its to support my guild collect badges and to collect offspec gear, i have a full Healing set with 2k sp 141 mp5 18k mana 23% crit all unbuffed in protspec :P and i have started to save up for a DPS spec seen has that will be my dule spec if i decide to go down that road. My healing set is only for if 1 tank is needed and i can do that while in prot but with DPS there is no possible way i can DPS at the swing speed of a 2-handed weapon cause if i cant put out over 2.3k dps theres no point switching over to Ret seen has i can top out at that in Prot.

Has many Tanks will no its always good to have 1 or 2 different sets or pieces of gear to punch up different stats in this case I'm talking about putting up my Block, i got Wall of Terror it will go nicely has a Block-set shield has i use my Hero's Surrender which is a great all round tanking shield and IMHO the best tanking shield in the game for a Tankadin has it gives us all the main stats we need.
I will talk more about this in another post but just wanted to let you no what happened tonight.

Where Have The TBC Days Gone ?

Whats happend that 1player can have everything his toon can possible need in the hole game not just 1 raid but the hole game. This seems to be the problem that im faceing with my Tankadin, i was talking about it with some guildys last night and it just feels wrong, i remember when i was still needing gear and there felt like there was still a chase im not saying im a loot whore i am still going everyweek to guild 25-man naxx runs with no problem i love Naxx and i love to raid but when you start running jumping around Dalaran flight area it just hits you in the face.

I rember when i was in TBC i started playing WoW about 1 year ago nerly and when i started i fell in love with the game and allways had a plan that i wanted to progress in this game and playing TBC was such good fun when started to raid Kara for the first time and i felt that experiance we call raiding and i fell in love, raiding is 1 of the best things in the game i do.

When WOTLK first came out there was that challenge where i thought i am now on the same lvl has everyother raider they dont have the 1 year head start on me, so my plan comeing into WOTLK was to lvl and raid and realy focused alot of time into my toon and my raiding and now it has all payed off i raid with some of the best people on my server so now just sitting tight waiting for Uldar to come i wonder how long it will take for us to master Uldar on all lvls of its spectrum.

Ill talk about my Death Knight seen has ive been letting you no on Twitter how ive been going with him. Currently im lvling up his herbing so when i go to the F-Jord i can lvl up while im quetsing and save up everysingle herb i get so when i get to 80 or maybe or even more likely as soon as i can make flasks of stoneblood i can powerlvl alchamy up.

I have realy and when i say realy i mean realy realy enjoyed playing my DK, I have got everything i need on my paladin theres no more gear to get untill Uldar which btw the new crafted boots Spiked Deathdealers Look the best in the game when Uldar comes out IMHO 2 sockets and great stats a looking realy nice. But back to the DK i felt OP in outland but im prity much still haveing that feeling in Nothrend, a DK freind of mine in our guild said to me that the rotation i have is the pritty much the same at end game lvl and when i figured out that the more deseases on a mob the more dmg i do which is all gud :D.

This is the first time ive lvled up a ALT propperly and im enjoying Nothrend 2nd time round seen has we had to rush it first time round.

Finaly i have got down to makeing a Blogg im interested in seeing where i can go with this and the response i get over time, and seeing what people have to think of my veiws, have listened to alot of Podcasts and it made me understand alot about this type of thing and then it got my thinking about makeing a blogg i have been talking about it on my twitter and im glad ive got round to it so i will post my mind on here and my take on the game :D
